The project consists of the 1,500 Vdc electrification of the new Line 3 of the Light Railway of the city of Guadalajara (Mexico).
The double-track line consists of the following sections:
- Two viaducts
- A tunnel, about 6 km long
- Workshops
- Garages
A total of 40 km of track are electrified, with two types of catenary:
- Flexible catenary: at viaducts, workshops and depots
- Rigid catenary: inside the tunnel
EyM México Instalaciones, S.A. de C.V. has been contracted for the detailed engineering, supply, assembly, testing and commissioning of the catenary.
