This activity is the origin of EyM Instalaciones, S.A., having participated in many railway electrification projects, both national and international.
From the Catenary Department we develop overhead contact line projects of different typologies:
- Catenary for high speed (C-350)
- CR-220 type catenary
- CR-160 type catenary
- CAVE type catenary
- Rigid catenary
- Tramway catenary
The company has the human resources and track machinery necessary to carry out the design, assembly and subsequent maintenance of these installations.
It has participated in the main high-speed rail projects executed in Spain, from the Madrid-Seville high-speed line to the last corridor built in Orense-Santiago-Coruña, being a national reference in this type of electrification.
At the international level, it participates in important contact area line projects such as the HSR Medina – Mecca (Saudi Arabia), the Marmaray project in Istanbul (Turkey), the HSR Monforte del Cid – Murcia (Spain), Line 3 of the Guadalajara Light Railway (Mexico) and the Follo Line project in Ski (Norway).
